Hikma is a multiple-choice quiz app. This policy explains what information Hikma collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: When you sign up or sign in, we collect your email address and, if you choose email/password registration, your name and gender. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
- Quiz activity: Your quiz answers, scores, quiz duration, and leaderboard rankings are stored so you can track progress and compete with other learners.
- Usage analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect app usage data such as screens viewed and general app interactions, to help us understand how the app is used and improve it.
- Advertising identifiers: Hikma displays ads through Google AdMob, which may collect your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads.
- Push notification token: If notifications are enabled, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications to your device, which requires a device-specific messaging token.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in.
- To save your quiz progress, scores, and display your ranking on leaderboards.
- To understand app usage and improve features and performance.
- To serve advertisements that help keep the app free.
- To send you push notifications, where applicable.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account and quiz data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore). All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not sell your personal data.

Hikma uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

5. Your Choices
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Hikma is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
