GhostBSD 21.09.06 ISO images are available now
On 7th September 2021, the GhostBSD project has announced the availability of GhostBSD 21.09.06 ISO images. The GhostBSD 21.09.06 is coming with FreeBSD rc.d for starting the background service. The release also includes other critical bug fixes and package updates.
The salient features in the GhostBSD 21.09.06 release are as follows.
- GhostBSD moved back to FreeBSD rc.d to start services. It was OpenRC for a while.
- Fixed the issue in Software Station which was causing an empty package list.
- Disable access to other user’s home directories.
- Fixed the inconsistency between update status in the Update Station and pkg update command.
- Fixed the issue while connecting to the WiFi network in some cases.
- Included Xfce4-screensaver
- Allow networkmgr to run without installation to /usr/local/share/

Updating / Installing GhostBSD 21.09.06
If you are an existing user of the GhostBSD, then you can perform a regular update from the Update Station. There are no other steps required.
